I prefer ‘The Old North State’ to ‘The Tarheel State’. Not all of us are from the tar full coastal planes or from UNC.

If we’re talking about college sports though I’m a Wolfpack guy, although I go to Appalachian.

OMG , I went to Cape Fear Tech and UNCW back in the 70s. Lived a block from Mercers Pier. Surfed it every morning before class. Would drive my Saab like hell down Airlie rd past Grey Gables and slide through the turn heading for school.

I lived in Kitty Hawk for years. Had friends in Spartanburg SC. That drive east to west in the 70's took half a day.

Funny! I love blasting down Airlie on my way to Wrightsville. Unfortionantly, its gotten too expensive to live near the water, so I live off of Kerr only about a mile from UNCW.

Yep, we live off of Tryon Rd near NCSU! I work on centennial campus. Wanted to go to Morrisville C&C this month, but missed it. I’m probably going to be out of town next month for it too.
